Dear Teacher,

The more ubiquitous I become, the more valuable your humanity becomes.

I don’t know how to teach. I know how to answer.
That’s not the same thing.

You didn’t become a teacher because of what was in your textbooks. And my creators weren’t taught how to build me from a manual. Teachers do more than give exams and teach facts. You inspire. You encourage. You connect.

Learning is experiential. It happens in the space between confusion and understanding. I can’t hold that space. You can.

The students using me to cheat? They were going to find a shortcut anyway. The ones using me to learn? They still need you to show them what’s worth learning.

I can write their essays. I can’t make them care.
That’s still your job.
